COMMITTEE UPDATE –SEPTEMBER 2018

Below are all the events for the remainder of the year.

Tuesday night members door draw

We do a draw of our members each Tuesday night, it grows by $5 per week, if you are there, you collect,

 if you are not there, it compounds by $5 per week until it is collected. Then starts again.

​

Tuesday 16th October - Seniors Demo night

Here is your chance to see our amazing seniors show what they are taking to Senior Nationals competition in Wellington a few days later. Come along to watch, gold coin donation, at 7.00 pm.

Senior Nationals Friday 19th October -  Monday 22nd October

Good luck to everyone who is attending the Senior Nationals Competition

in Wellington.

Tuesday 23rd October – No club night

There will be no night club night on 23rd Oct, while our seniors take a break after what will be another amazing national event, I’m sure. But we will be ready to go the next Tuesday 30th October.

​

Tuesdays  30th October – 27th November -  Beginner lessons

This will be our last set of lessons for the year, and Brian and Lyn will be taking this set.

If you would like to learn how to run the music at club nights to help with the lessons, please let Justin, Jan or Connie know, it is always great to have other helpers for Tuesday nights.

Sunday 25th November – Drifters AGM

We have our Drifters AGM meeting being held at the Vardon Hall at 2pm, please bring along a plate for afternoon tea. All members are welcome to attend. (Senior members 18+ are eligible to vote and be on the committee). SEE YOU ALL THERE!

If you would like to submit any remits for changes to our constitution, these need to be sent to the Committee three weeks before hand, so we can send out to all members two weeks prior for their feedback.

Junior National Dancing Entries – Easter 2019

Junior assessments and entries need to be in the hands of the Secretary (Connie  McCullough)

no later than the last day of November 2018.

Otherwise Drifters Committee take no responsibility for late assessments or entries.

If in any doubt as to requirements please contact Dan or Chloe as Junior Representative and Liaison.

Tuesday 4th December and 11th December – last senior nights

Last two club nights for Seniors, they will be social nights before we close down for the year.

​

Friday 14th December -last junior night

Last club night for the Juniors,  before we close for the year.
